Unleashing the Fury
The Sun was in its full glory, so were the Sharks on last Sunday. In the first match, after winning the toss, Sharks posted a big total of 189/1 in 20 overs. Harish and Rahul had unbeaten stand of 155 in 15 overs before Rahul decided to retire. Harish continued his mesmerizing batting performance until the last ball of the inning and scored unbeaten 97 runs of 63 balls. In the second inning, Vedant led the charge with a wicket in the first over. Sharks took wickets at regular interval and won the match by 29 runs.
In the second match against the HNCC Green, Sharks bettered their performance and scored a mammoth total of 220/4 in 20 overs while batting first. Once again, Rahul and Harish gave a solid platform with their batting. Harish scored briskly in the powerplay and leveled the record of fastest fifty (17 balls) in T20 in Baden Württemberg. Chinmay played amazingly well in the middle overs and kept the run rate above 10. He was supported by Deepak and Rajesh in the last 5 overs who batted with strike rate above 200. Rajesh shined with ball also in the match. He took 4 wickets in 3 overs by giving just 12 runs. He had a over hattrick. Sharks completely destroyed their opponents and won the match by 133 runs.
