A small town guy originally hailing from Mangalore and raised in Nagpur joined a cricket club at an early age of 9. His techniques were built in the club on three principles, patience calmness and mental toughness. He has developed a game style where he tries to build a long innings and then go ballistic once set. Also proves to be mayhem for opposition once set, it is difficult to get his wicket. His favorite shots are cover drive and pull.

Apart from his batting prowess, he is capable of bowling off spin and medium pace at will. He is a player who hates loosing and gives his best on the field , and is often regarded as safe pair of hands in fielding and known for his agile movements which can turn the direction of the game in his teams favor. Being more of a batting all rounder, he proves his versatile nature by taking up glove work on his teams demand and is often complemented by his teammates for his decent keeping skill as well.

Off the field, also known as a silent-one but a detail oriented observant in all aspects and this is evidently reflected on the field with his inputs to come up with a strategy.
