Knights in Karlsruhe

The Malmsheim Knights kick-started their first game of their U13 BWCV tournament with lot of enthusiasm. Despite being their first competitive match at this level they scored 90 runs with Viren and Srihari showing composure at the end building crucial 50 runs partnership. Their bowling lacked accuracy and control was filled with extras. But it picked up in the second match where they limited their extras and made Batsman earn their runs. Yash bowled well with accuracy and picked up crucial wickets supported by Viren who shows lot of composure way beyond his age. Spars, Srihari and Ajithesh supported them well. Unfortunately this time batting couldn’t complement their bowling. But it’s only matter of time until Malmsheim Knights taste their first victory with everybody looking to train hard and improve.

The head of TSV Malmsheim Cricket, Chandramohan, is delighted about the progress made in the junior cricket and school integration program. He said, “We want to improve the cricket at the grassroots level in Stuttgart. This year our focus will be on strengthening junior cricket training department, recruit more kids and build their cricketing skills with the compressive support program.”
